Stopped the kids from going in each other’s rooms and taking things. God send. Didn’t want to put locks on that keys would be lost. I wish I had one on every door!

I’ve waited a few days to write this but now after using it for almost a week, I can honestly say it is absolutely fantastic. Providing this stays working as it is for a long time then I cannot fault it. Highly highly recommended.

Very easy to install and set up with little DIY experience. Fingerprint reader works really well and you can also share E-keys with friends if they download the app, which is great for granting temporary access and keeping record of who is coming and going.

We have a team of 8 carers and a lot of medication. We had a push button lock at first but 2 gave up in 2 years so decided to go with something different.
    I’m so happy with this.
Not tried remote opening yet as all carers have their finger prints scanned.
Made safe storage of drugs so much simpler
It was a bit fiddly to install.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersIch habe das Schloss auf gut Glck gekauft (es gab/gibt keine Rezensionen) weil es alle Funktionen hatte die ich von so einem Schloss erwartet habe:

    – Fingerabdrucksensor
    – App Steuerung

Good solid handle, had to make a larger hole for it, but easy enough and works very well.

Everything about this product seems to be almost perfect. I use it for locking my indoor office door and I couldn’t be happier.

Once installed it feels very sturdy and secure. The app also works perfectly and picked up my device and had it paired within 20 seconds, in the app you can do various things such as lock and unlock the door (although you have to be in bluetooth range unless you buy the gateway) and you can see who has unlocked your door and when. You can also turn off the beeping noise on the lock from within the app which was one of the first things i did.

The fingerprint sensor works every time for me so far and it is very quick as well. The actual construction of the handle is far better than i expected and is fully metal and does not feel cheap or light at all.

The Manual key is also of very high quality and works very well as a last resort.

Overall I very much recommend this product and think that it is definitely worth the extra money over the cheaper alternatives and will be buying another one for my other door.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally impressed by how good this lock is. I bought a cheaper version and it was nothing but trouble. The battery compartment was loose so the batteries did not line up perfectly and touch making the lock non usable and it was also really bulky with instructions in Chinese.

I was impressed with this version , although more expensive it’s well worth the extra cost.

It did take some work , I have an old PVC door and needed to put the bolt higher up. It meant carving out the edge of the door and drilling/carving out the holes in the sides to fit the new handles.

Within the parcel was a diagram you can cut out and position correctly making it easy to use as a guide on where you should cut out the holes to line up with the bolt inside the door and also gives guides on how far back the bolt needs to go in the door. I used a marker around the guides and although took a while, it made the process so much easier than my previous version.

The instructions were fairly easy to follow , there was a couple times where I had to go back and forth not understanding how to position the metal door mount piece and the rubber versions but other than that was easy to follow. There are some really small screws that are easy to drop and lose, I had a Tupperware pot for the screw to drop into if dropped(which happened alot).

The handles turn really easily and once all set up , the finger print reader will let anyone enter. After downloading the app you can set up an administrator fingerprint and also various versions of where the lock will be accessible for other people/fingerprints for certain time periods.

It took some time to carve out the door but after it’s all done , the fingerprint reader is working perfectly.

Go for a more expensive version , the quality is so much better. I went for a cheaper alternative at first and was disappointed. This is much better quality.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI like the lock and installed it with gateway very good app simple to use, in normal circumstances it should do the work.

Unfortunately my tenants are scum bags, they deactivated by unscrewing the handle and removing the batteries. So tamper proof seal on the handle might make it more robust.

    Thanks

Did have to make hole in door larger and to fit locking mechanism fit but simple enough to do

TL;DR – Hands down, one of the best handles I’ve used, incredibly impressive for the price point and would highly recommend, customer service was amazingly fast and helpful.

I needed a new door handle, something that could keep my younger brother out of my bedroom, but wanted something that wouldn’t pose as a potential fire risk during the night also.

I tried a couple of different handles, but none of them were nearly as good as this one. The handle was really easy to install, and once installed, didn’t even look too out of place from the other door handles around the house. The emergency power port for if the handle does die though is a complete lifesaver, alongside the mechanical key.

Using the app was incredibly easy too, setting up the fingerprints was just like setting any other fingerprint lock on an iPhone, for example. Not to mention being able to send “keys” for people to get in if they absolutely need to.

I was unlucky enough to have a part malfunction during the use of the product, but after contacting the company and a few back and forth conversations to sort the issue, a part was sent out and I received within the same week! Honestly, really outdoing some of the big brands.

For final words, if you’re looking for something high-tech to secure a room in your house, but don’t want to pay an extortionate amount to do so, my absolute recommendation is this, 10/10.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersWell, I share the house with more people and because one of my housemates left the main door open for 2 times I have decided to lock my room all the time. I have my work stuff in there so there is no reason to play around.

Initially, I wanted to get a regular lock but to use the key all the time for me it is annoying, with so much technology around I needed something new interesting and easy to use.
I got this one, elegant design, I like square, sharp type of design(not round) and this one has those.
It is dark grey colour(not black), has a nice pattern finish on the handle.
    How to install it?

Remove the one you have on your door if you have any, place this one inside with the sensor of course on the outside(it doesn’t fit the other way around), connect the cables together as indicated in the user manual, make sure the unit is charged properly, use a screw driver to secure it and you are almost done.
It fits on most of the doors(here in uk they are all more or less the same). The door I have is also dark grey close to black so the handle fits perfectly. The handle is quite large compared to other models(the regular ones) so you feel you touch a real handle.
You have to make sure you set up with finger to unlock it via the app and you can also share with whomever you want the digital key to give them access, in my case there is only me so I keep that private.
The unit requires batteries to work, the regular AAA small size which are not included. I don’t know how long you can use with full batteries. The app works on both, IOS and Android so its fine for all the phones.
If you ever have probems running out of batteries you can plug a mini usb cable just to unlock it. Never happened to me yet.

Something else to mention, if you hand is wet the fingerprint reader will not work so well.

Overall good experience. Very practical thing to have on your door, I definitely feel more comfortable now that no one besides me can enter my room.

This smart door lock handle is excellent does what it says on the tin.

I use this handle for my place of business and feel completely at ease with leaving confidential paperwork out on my desk when leaving to conduct business…. or even overnight as I know that my lock cannot be picked or overridden.

Bought this as I’m now working from our bedroom and I don’t want the kids messing with my documents.

It can be a challenge to install if you don’t have experience with door handles but that’s not an issue with the handle itself. You need to ensure the hole going through the door is larger than you would typically need for a door handle (Template is included). This is mainly to ensure you can thread through and ‘bury’ the excess wire joining the handles within the door.

Sometimes have to press the sensor a couple of times as it only requires 3 scans on setup to log ones fingerprints so not always as quick as say a quality mobile phone finger scanner, but otherwise it’s brilliant.

As per images there is a micro USB port if the 4 aaa batteries fail and you need to use a power bank to open the door. The small circular flap is where you would insert a key (provided) worst case scenario.

This has been my first experience with such a device and I would certainly buy again. BTW, the handle works like a normal one from the inside.

A must buy if you want to secure a room

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersHandle seems to be working fine upon installation, but if you have a standard 35mm UK internal door, expect to need to hack away at the door and the door frame.

For the door, you’ll need to drill a hole further in to a standard latch and I had to drill bigger than the template they gave as it would not have fitted the bars through without. You will then need to hack away at the edge of the door, again because a standard latch is not as big as this latch and you literally have to go almost edge to edge for it to fit. In addition to this, as it is a longer latch, you will need to hack away inside too so that the latch goes all the way back and flush with the door.

For the door frame, the back plate is so deep that I literally had to chisel out all of the frame leaving the solid wood behind that open. Hopefully that won’t cause any problems! and of course the front plates are bigger than the standard so you will need to make that part bigger too.

What I thought was strange, and I am not sure if I didn’t receive the right parts, as there is no part checker provided, the bars provided that allow you to adjust to the thickness of the door had 4 small pieces and only 1 large piece. I managed with this, but on a 35mm door it is really difficult to get the screws in. They will physically reach, just about but as you cover the hole with the handle, you then have no idea where you are aiming! What I had to do was use that 1 long bar (no idea why there was only 1 provided!?) so that I could screw in one half, which I could now see enough behind the handle to line up the screw with the bar, and then knowing that it was alnost fixed in place, I had to use one of the smaller bars on the other side and take a lucky guess. As I say, it really only just reaches the thread of the bar so you have to get it just right.

The other tricky part was the rubber surrounds to finish it off. I had to remove these as with those on, it just wouldn’t reach atall. As such, it is securely fastened now but you can see a small gap, presumable where the rubber would have filled that gap.

I honestly think that this should have come with 2 long bolts, which would have made much more sense and made the actual handle installation much easier and quicker.

Finally, the placement of the screw holes behind the handle make it difficult to get the screws in. It does come with a handy allen key, which is needed actually due to the type of screw head. It does make it easier to then get at the screws to tighten them, but as explained, trying to do this and being able to put enough pressure on the handle so that the screw reaches the thread of the bar was a pain in the proverbial.

Ending on a positive note, the handle does look nice. I got the silver one. I also like the fact that you can use normal batteries. The last handle I got for another door didn’t have that so when it runs out, you have to charge with USB and it is very temperamental, to the point where it just would not charge, and I had to drill a hole in the door to get in to turn my oven off!!! So having the changeable batteries is good. The mechanical keys also help with this as another way to get in should all else fail, so this is great.

I also like the app (TTLOCK) too. Not really used much of it, but you can register different prints using the app, and also access with the app. Nice touch.

So I pondered on 3 or 4 stars for this. I think the handle is really good, but just a pain to prepare and install. Maybe could have been better with that extra long bar!

Ultimately, I would buy this again (once confirming the inventory!)

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGreat product, had installed when I had a new door fitted. Stops my little boy getting in my workshop but doesn’t look like the door has a lock on it.

Haven’t managed to get it to work with the app yet but I don’t really need to as my thumb is fine and the app would probably kill the battery quicker.
